Greetings, this is your Captain speaking. ✈️@InTheBagProductions and @EgoTripBRC are now boarding BagTrip Airlines for FLIGHT, a sonic expedition at the San Diego Air & Space Museum in Balboa Park on Saturday, July 22 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.🎟️TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE IN BIO📍Set in a Smithsonian-affiliated museum that hasn’t been activated for an event like this in almost a decade, FLIGHT will be the trip of a lifetime. For the night, the museum will be available exclusively to FLIGHT passengers.✈️Arrive early to navigate through the museum’s aviation and space exploration exhibits and ride 3D Flight Simulators that mimic the movement of flying with sharp banks, sky loops and screaming dives while competing in interactive aerial combat and aerobatic maneuvers. Simulators and special exhibits will be open from 8 to 10 p.m.🎵From 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. inside the inner atrium, which hangs with aircraft from the 1920s through 1940s, BagTrip Airlines will take passengers on an expedition of dreamy soundscapes, extraterrestrial visuals, interactive art installations and intergalactic surprises.👩‍✈️Look fly in anything from Amelia Earheart-esque garb to a Pan Am uniform, or take inspo from an army pilot or astronaut to create an out-of-this-world outfit. While we want to encourage creativity with costumes, the San Diego Air & Space Museum requires all guests to be decently covered, included but not limited to wearing shirts and shoes. TALK ABOUT STAGE PRESENCE 🤩 May we formally introduce BAG N BOUJEE: our custom-built, semi-circular stage; an iridescent tunnel with depth, defined by its smooth outline that bends and curls to frame the performers inside.✏️ First sketched on a piece of paper, she’s the conceptual brainchild of our very own dynamic duo, @willislm and @dbtnation 🧠 and was brought to life by the ever-talented hands of @mortiseandhare_ 🪚 A labor of love requiring blood, sweat, tears, sanding, sawing (and a whole bunch of woodworking terms we’ll spare you) plus a hot pink bespoke epoxied yin yang sign for centerpiece - the symbol of Chic N Freak ☯️Whether you saw her on NYE or not, she’s a shapeshifter. PLOT TWIST🌀WELLNESS IS IN THE BAG!Join us for our first installment of SYNERGY, designed for our community to gather outside of a club and in an environment where we aim to balance our physical and spiritual bodies. This event will be the YIN 😌 to our normal YANG 🤪Hosted in partnership with wellness-focused non-profit @namastaysober, SYNERGY 1.0 will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5 at @Quartyardsd 📍A leader in the conscious arts, @themakdaddy will guide us through a cacao ceremony, meditation and a gentle vinyasa flow suitable for all levels. There will also be a variety of local vendors and light music.SYNERGY 1.0 kicks off Namastay Sober’s Sobruary Challenge, a month-long community experience to reconnect with yourself and get out of your comfort zone. The challenge encourages refraining from alcohol and drugs, or another habit that disconnects you like doom scrolling or bingeing tv, for the month of February to show solidarity for those navigating recovery.
